A Mom Life that's Well Loved

As a mama of two little ladies I can attest to the fact that as a mom, we never actually rest. We are chefs, chauffeurs, hair stylists, and perpetual snack getters. We clean up messes daily, pick up toys after they've been stepped on with bare feet, and we love our littles HARD!

There are so many good moments splattered in there and that's what makes the mom gig so worth it! The giggles of sisterhood, the never-ending jokes that seem to bypass any sort of punchline, the tiny dancer moments and the huggable embraces.

I don't want to miss a moment of them growing up and making memories and I'm making the effort to do more. I love involving them in my photoshoots and they love dressing up and posing for the camera. And the sweet little moments when they model mommy's shoes and wear a big smile because they are finally able to balance on them.

I am slowly learning that my "I don't have time" excuse is just that. I need to set time limits on work and screen time and I need to remove my eyeballs from the dang phone and place them upon my two tiny princesses that beg for mama's attention. We are our own time regulators and it is OK to say no to things sometimes because it allows more time for ourselves and our family.

Man oh man, I am told almost daily to treasure the moments I have with these littles for one day they will grow up and not think their mama is the coolest lady around. I mean they already have doubts I'm sure as I belt out Queen in the car. hahaha But I'm making an effort. I'm saying NO more often and putting the phone down and closing the laptop. It's going to be a struggle since my work is on the phone and computer but I can reevaluate my time and MAKE IT WORK!

So CHEERS to the hard working mamas and may you find time to set your boundaries, say no and just be with your family.
