If there is something I have learned but have yet to master is trusting in God brings you a joyful heart. A joyful heart rests in God’s control of life. We as wives and mothers have try to be in control of our lives, our family, and our home. How exhausting. It never ends. Trusting God isn’t a lack of action, but it does involve humility by knowing what you can control. It might be asking for help, planning ahead, or learning a new skill. Distinguish between what you can control and what you cannot. Pray to God for help and trust him with the outcome.

My featured design client started with a small unusable kitchen space that did not serve her family of 4 well. By removing walls blocking the flow, going with bright whites and modern cabinetry, and increasing the lighting with pendants and high hats my client and her family have been able to function better and enjoy the space they spend so much time in.Â
