I was recently left with open wall space and decided it would be the perfect place for some of my grandfather’s paintings. Thrifting for a frame for your grandfather’s painting can be an exciting and rewarding experience. It’s a chance to find a unique and affordable frame that complements the artwork, adding character and charm. When thrifting, keep an open mind and consider different styles, materials, and sizes. Don’t be afraid to mix and match frames to create a custom look. Remember, the frame should enhance the painting, not overpower it. Happy hunting!

Some still photos to shake things up. I may be taking a gamble drifting away from the reels for a moment but I’m ok with that. We need some stillness in our lives, wouldn’t you agree? Also, can we all agree that this area rug from @angelarosehome with @loloirugs is simply perfection? My youngest does her gymnastics in this room and we recently swapped out our wall to wall carpet in here for plank flooring from @homedepot and she was not pleased. I told her we would get a new area rug so hold tight. I was hoping that this rug would be soft for her gymnast landings and it so is! The fibers are incredibly soft! If I slid on it like I was stealing home I don’t even think I would get a rug burn! That’s really the only way I can describe it. We added a grippy floor pad for underneath for some extra hold and bounce.

A sweet little (and super easy) Valentine’s Day

A sweet little (and super easy) Valentine’s Day garland. I was inspired by @lizmariegalvan fun Valentine’s garland made from plates and napkins 🤯 (check it out if you haven’t seen it yet). All of these items are from the @dollartree and if you’d like some closeups head to my saved stories under DIY. I simply strung the styrofoam balls, used adhesive backed felt hearts on either side of the string to hold them in place and hot glued wooden hearts together sandwiching the string (much like the felt hearts). Lastly I made two bows to anchor the ends of the garland. I’d love to hear any “love” projects you may be working on. Ready to craft your heart out? Let’s see your heartfelt designs! 💌
