Family Weekend Adventures
This is a departure from my usual home decor and DIY posts but I wanted to share the wonderful weekend I had with my family. Sometimes it's therapeutic to depart from the norm and embrace adventure with the ones you love.
Our oldest daughter was given a choice for her birthday, a party or an adventure with the family. She chose an adventure and this mama couldn't be happier about it. She chose to go camping.
We planned the camping trip around a rocket launch that took place at the Kennedy Space Center this weekend. We camp at the Manatee Hammock Campground which happens to be just across the water from Kennedy so viewing of rocket launches is perfect!
We started our trip with a day at Sea World then onto the real adventure...camping! The girls love to camp and I love to get away from all the distractions so it was a win-win.
I wasn't able to get too many pictures because I was busy with the family but I did capture some pictures of our breathtaking sunrises. I hope you enjoy scrolling through.
