2018 Fall/Winter Wardrobe Capsule – Florida Style
I grew up in the north and when it was Fall and Winter that meant only one thing (ok three); cozy sweaters, thick coats, and warm boots. Well since moving to Florida 4 years ago I no longer needed these things. At least not every time I set foot outside. I actually STILL have all my winter coats in the same totes I packed them in when we moved. There are a lot of bloggers that I love that share their capsule style and how-tos but they just don’t fit for the Southerner. So I thought I would share my Fall/Winter wardrobe capsule for all my fellow Southerners. If you’re a northerner or somewhere that has already felt the crisp air or possibly even seen the beautiful snow then I highly recommend you check out Erin at The Cotton Stem and her latest capsule wardrobe try on [here] with Old Navy. Make sure you also follow Erin in IG @cottonstem.So now on to my try-on session at the one and only Target. Fair warning, I am NOT a fashion blogger and I’m sure I’m doing this all wrong but hey, let’s give it a shot, shall we?

This cute corduroy dress is perfect for transitioning in the Florida Fall/Winter season. You can wear it sleeveless on those more than humid days, or layer on this bulky and beautiful soft blush sweater. Click through the pieces in this look below.
Ok, this outfit is ALLLLL about the leather bomber jacket and the amazing shoes! I mean the faux leather is like butter! These slip-on shoes are the PERFECT footwear for weather that doesn't like to make up it's mind. Is it hot? Is it cold? YES! Click through the pieces in this look below.
I have been all about the tied shirts for the past couple seasons. I mean whether they be sleeveless or rolled up sleeves, I'll take the mom pooch hiding, tied shirt any day! Oh and just look at these quilted shoes! Click through the pieces in this look below.
So there you have it! The best part about these pieces is that each one can be mixed and matched. I mean that's what a wardrobe capsule is all about right? And in the south it is all about the layers which is why I showed each outfit with and without the top layer. I mean it's like two looks in one right there! So what do you think about the seasonal wardrobe capsule? Do you currently have one or are you thinking of creating a capsule of your own? I'd love to know so share in the comments below! Thanks for stopping by the blog today my friends! All items linked here:
